The first of a five-year program BE GREAT: GRADUATE will be funded by the Walmart Foundation. The program will help teen’s transition from middle school to high school.
The Walmart Foundation’s California State Giving Council today announced a $30,000 grant for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Redlands to support the first of the five year “Be Great Graduate” program. Thanks to a partnership with Regal Entertainment Group, Club members of Boys & Girls Clubs of Redlands will enjoy free admission to the movies this summer through the Free Family Film Festival.

Majestic Realty Foundation gives $10,000 to support Power Hour! the educational enhancement program at the Boys & Girls Club. STAPLES provided $1,500 in gift cards for the purchase of school supplies. A lone bid of $2.9 million for the Clay Street Clubhouse is more than the estimated $1.3 million pricetag, meaning that the Club needs to raise more funding.
